“My body of work unites by using photography, digital and traditional painting to seek clarity in femininity, childhood, and spirituality. As a Russian born woman artist, it is important for me to embrace my femininity and the spiritual relationship I have with my mind and body. Especially when it comes to my culture and religion where I either go against the norms: the stereotypes between male vs. female bodies: or embrace it for what it is set to be. With the use of bold colors, striking representation, and abstract forms, I am able to create works of art that correlate to the passion and drive I have for the art I make. I aspire for those who view my art to embrace the spiritual power it holds and to see my work through the lens of a feminine body.”
